We (Kirsten, 47 and Iwan, 50) are a reliable, positive, experienced, tidy and easy going couple. We are non-smokers, active and healthy and we don’t have pets anymore and we don’t have kids.
We lived 4 years together in the Netherlands and there after we lived for 17,5 years on the tropical island Curacao (Dutch Caribbean). We were home owners and we had 3 dogs (adopted from the streets) and a land turtle. In January 2018 we sold everything (our beautiful tropical house, 2 cars and most of our stuff) and we started travelling. We love to explore new areas, meet new people and enjoy our freedom. We can do so, because we are independent, part-time, remote workers.
Kirsten is an interior stylist and she was a property manager for 3 years for different home owners, who rented their houses/apartments to tourists. She did the check in/out, maintenance and handled issues, if there were any. Reference letters from these home owners are asked and we'll send them to you, if you desire so. At the moment she works part-time and 100% remote as VA (Virtual Assistant) for a Dutch nutrition company.
Iwan is bailiff, but developed himself as insurance advisor and sales manager in the insurance industry. He currently works part-time and 100% remote as lease advisor for a Dutch financial car lease company.
Besides the experience from Kirsten as a property manager, we also have a lot of experience looking after houses, B&B's and pets. We have experience with cats, dogs, birds, fishes, horses including giving medication. We also have experiences with different kind of energy and water systems and pools and gardens.
The house and pet sits we completed were very succesfull for the home owners, their pets and for ourselves. We are available for short term, mid-term and long term periods for house and pet sitting and we also run B&B's in the holiday seasons. We see this as "a way of life" and not as a holiday, so we are doing our utmost to get good recommendations.
